OVAL CARVED BREAD BOARD AND MATCHING KNIFE Bedside Condition: In excellent vintage condition19th Century beautiful oval carved bread board with matching carved knife. The bread board is intricately carved with alpine flowers to the rim with the words 'Donnez Nous Notre Pain Quotidien' [Translation: Give Us Our Daily Bread]. To the centre of the board is carved a wheat and harvest tools. The matching knife is also carved with alpine flowers and has a leather protective sleeve. Alsace, France. Circa 1900.
