She's depicted here as she often was when she was worshiped: with her characteristic frog head. A likely precursor to the Greek Hekate, she presides over works of witchcraft. Her frog head represents her association with fertility and abundance, as frogs are known to have an abundance of children. She is known to be a defender of women and children, as well as
